إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُحْرَمُ الرِّزْقَ بِالذَّنْبِ يُصِيبُهُ
A man is deprived of provision because of a sin he commits
Hadith 1001
1001 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أبنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ السَّرَخْسِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، أبنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أبنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُحْرَمُ الرِّزْقَ بِالذَّنْبِ يُصِيبُهُ»
It is narrated from the freed slave of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), that indeed the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, a man is deprived of sustenance because of the sin which he commits."
