986 - أَخْبَرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْكَشِّيُّ، وَكَانَ ذَا خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ، أبنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِيِّ بِحَدِيثٍ حَسَنٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْغَلَابِيُّ، رَجُلٌ حَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ثنا الْحَسَنُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ الْحَسَنِ الْخُلُقُ الْحَسَنُ» الْحَسَنُ الْأَوَّلُ ابْنُ سَهْلٍ، وَالثَّانِي ابْنُ دِينَارٍ، وَالثَّالِثُ الْبَصْرِيُّ وَالرَّابِعُ ابْنُ عَلِيٍّ
Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the best beauty is the beauty of character." In the chain of narration, the first Hasan refers to Hasan ibn Sahl, the second to Ibn Dinar, the third to Basri, and the fourth to Sayyiduna Hasan ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both).
