979 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمُقْرِئُ، ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ رَشِيقٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَسَنٍ الْأَعْسَمُ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا وَفِيهِ» إِنَّ الْحِكْمَةَ تَزِيدُ الشَّرِيفَ شَرَفًا "
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said . . . . . . and he narrated a hadith in which it was also mentioned: "Indeed, wisdom increases the nobility of a noble person..."
