940 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أبنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، أبنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أبنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، أبنا مُحْرِزٌ أَبُو رَجَاءٍ، مَوْلَى هِشَامٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولًا، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَكُونُوا عَيَّابِينَ وَلَا مَدَّاحِينَ، وَلَا طَعَّانِينَ وَلَا مُتَمَاوِتِينَ»
Makhul reports that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not be fault-finders, nor praisers, nor those who taunt, nor those who show weakness in deeds."
