Hadith 907
907 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أبنا الْقَاضِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ بُنْدَارٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ، ثنا الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو النَّخَعِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمَرْءُ عَلَى دِينِ خَلِيلِهِ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي صُحْبَةِ مَنْ لَا يَرَى لَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ مِثْلَ الَّذِي تَرَى لَهُ»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A person is upon the religion of his friend, and there is no good in the company of one who does not wish good for you in the same way as you wish for him.”
