Hadith 895
895 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعْدُونٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَابِ، أبنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ، أبنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، قَالَ: أبنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أبنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ: بَلَغَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ سَعْدًا، اتَّخَذَ قَصْرًا، فَأَنْفَذَ إِلَيْهِ: إِنَّمَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَشْبَعُ الْمُؤْمِنُ دُونَ جَارِهِ»
Abayah bin Rifaa says that Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) received news that Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) had built a palace, so he sent a message to him saying: "Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'A believer does not fill his stomach while his neighbor (remains hungry) without food.'"
Hadith 896
896 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، أنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ: بَلَغَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ سَعْدًا، اتَّخَذَ قَصْرًا فَأَنْفَذَ إِلَيْهِ: أَمَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ::. . وَذَكَرَهُ
Abayah bin Rifaa says that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) received news that Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) had built a palace, so he sent a message to him: "Did you not hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say this?" And he narrated this hadith.
