Hadith 886
886 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ: حَدَّثَنَاهُ غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَهْلِكُ النَّاسُ حَتَّى يُعْذِرُوا مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ»
Abu al-Bakhtari says that the person who heard from the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated to me that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was saying: "People will never be destroyed until their disobedience becomes excessive or they are left with no excuse."
