Hadith 880
880 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ النَّحَّاسِ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَبَّبٍ الدَّلَّالُ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ»
Muhammad bin Sa’d narrates from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “It is not lawful for a person to sever relations with his brother for more than three days.”
Hadith 881
881 - وأنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَيْضًا، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَهْزَادٍ، أنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُفَيْرٍ، أنا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ، يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا، وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلَامِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him, that indeed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful for any Muslim to sever relations with his brother for more than three days; when they meet, each turns away from the other, and the better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of peace (salam)."
Hadith 882
882 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، نا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، نا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْن أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, that indeed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful for a believer to sever relations with his brother for more than three days."
Hadith 883
883 - أنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْفَارِسِيُّ، أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْفَرْضِيُّ، نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمَطِيرِيُّ، نا بِشْرُ بْنُ مَطَرٍ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ» ، مُخْتَصَرٌ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that it is not permissible for any Muslim to sever relations with his brother for more than three days.
