Hadith 823
823 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، أبنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ مَنْ سَمِعَ الْمَقْبُرِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا يَنْتَظِرُ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا غِنًى مُطْغِيًا، أَوْ فَقْرًا مُنْسِيًا، أَوْ مَرَضًا مُفْسِدًا، أَوْ هَرَمًا مُفَنِّدًا، أَوْ مَوْتًا مُجْهِزًا، أَوِ الدَّجَّالَ، فَالدَّجَّالُ شَرُّ غَائِبٍ يُنْتَظَرُ، أَوِ السَّاعَةَ، فَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَى وَأَمَرُّ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Each one of you is only awaiting either overwhelming affluence, or impoverishing poverty, or a ruinous illness, or old age that takes away intellect and senses, or sudden, swift death, or the Dajjal (Antichrist). So the Dajjal is the worst hidden thing being awaited, or the Hour (Day of Judgment), for the Hour is a greater calamity and more bitter."
Hadith 824
824 - وأنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ الْبَرَكَاتِ الْعَرَبِيُّ، بِمِصْرَ، أنا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، أنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَلَبِيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي سَكِينَةَ، نا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا يَنْتَظِرُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا غِنًى مُطْغِيًا، أَوْ فَقْرًا مُنْسِيًا، أَوْ هَرَمًا مُفْلِجًا، أَوْ مَرَضًا مُفْسِدًا، أَوْ مَوْتًا مُجْهِزًا، أَوِ الدَّجَّالَ، فَشَرُّ غَائِبٍ يُنْتَظَرُ أَوِ السَّاعَةَ، فَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَى وَأَمَرُّ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Each one of you is only awaiting either overwhelming affluence, or forgetful poverty, or overpowering old age, or a corrupting illness, or sudden, swift death, or the Dajjal (Antichrist)—for he is the worst hidden thing being awaited—or the Hour (Day of Judgment)—for the Hour is a greater calamity and more bitter."
