Hadith 814
814 - أَخْبَرَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمَيْمُونِ النَّصِيبِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُظَفَّرِ، ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمً، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جَعْدَبَةَ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا عُبِدَ اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ فِقْهٍ فِي دِينٍ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No act of worship to Allah has been performed that is superior to understanding (comprehension) in religion."
