Hadiths 801 to 1000
«مَا أَكْرَمَ شَابٌّ شَيْخًا لِسِنِّهِ إِلَّا قَيَّضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَ شَيْبِهِ مَنْ يُكْرِمُهُ»
No young man honors an elder for his age except Allah appoints for him one who will honor him in his old age
Hadith 801
801 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْيَمَنِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ، أَحْمَدَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ الطَّحَاوِيَّ يَقُولُ: ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الرَّحَّالِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ: وَذَكَرَهُ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said... and he narrated this hadith: "Whoever, as a youth, honors an elderly person because of his age, Allah Almighty will appoint for him someone who will honor him in his old age."
Hadith 802
802 - وأنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التُّجِيبِيُّ، نا الشَّيْخُ الصَّالِحُ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَانَاجٍ الْإِصْطَخْرِيُّ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَثَلَاثِ مِائَةٍ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمُنْذِرُ الْقَزَّازُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ، نا أَبُو الرَّحَّالٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا أَكْرَمَ شَابٌّ شَيْخًا لِسِنِّهِ إِلَّا قَيَّضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَنْ يُكْرِمُهُ عِنْدَ سِنِّهِ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Whoever honors an elderly person because of his age, Allah will appoint for him someone who will honor him in his old age."
