Hadith 795
795 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الصَّوَّافُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا اسْتَرْذَلَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا إِلَّا حَظَرَ عَنْهُ الْعِلْمَ وَالْأَدَبَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the sight of Allah, the only servant who is disgraced and insignificant is the one who is deprived of knowledge and manners."
