Hadiths 601 to 800
«إِذَا تَمَنَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْظُرْ مَا يَتَمَنَّى فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي مَا كُتِبَ لَهُ مِنْ أُمْنِيَّتِهِ»
When one of you wishes, let him consider what he wishes, for he does not know what is decreed for him in his wish
Hadith 768
768 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَذَكَرَهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said... and he narrated this hadith: "When any one of you desires something, he should see what he is desiring, because he does not know what may be written for him from his desire."
