Hadith 699
699 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَيْسَرَانِيُّ، ثنا الْخَرَائِطِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْعَتْبِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ وَعَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَا: ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَذَكَرَهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, and he narrated this hadith.
Hadith 700
700 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ رهبٍ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَقُولُ اللَّهُ: اطْلُبُوا الْفَضْلَ عِنْدَ الرُّحَمَاءِ مِنْ عِبَادِي تَعِيشُوا فِي أَكْنَافِهِمْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ رَحْمَتِي، وَلَا تَطْلُبُوهَا مِنَ الْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ سُخْطِي " تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَهُوَ غَرِيبٌ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah says: “Seek goodness and virtue from among My servants who are merciful; live under their shade, for My mercy is with them. And do not seek this goodness and virtue from those whose hearts are hard, for My displeasure is with them.” ‘Abd al-Ghaffar bin Hasan bin Dinar is alone in narrating this hadith, and he is considered weak in hadith.
