Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while advising us said: "O human, whose end is death; O human, whose destination is the grave; O human, whose clothing is the shroud; O human, whose pillow is the dust; O human, whose neighbors are insects and worms; O human, whose visitors are Munkar and Nakir; O human, who will soon leave his wife; how many are there who welcome today but will not complete it, and how many are there who await tomorrow but will not reach it. If you were to see death and its swiftness, you would surely begin to dislike hopes and their deceptions."
