Hadith 592
592 - كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ السَّجَاعِيُّ بِخَطِّهِ وَأَرَانِي قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الصُّوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ قَالَ: ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى، ثنا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَذَكَرَهُ مُخْتَصَرًا
Hukm bin Umair (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You build such buildings in which you cannot live, and you accumulate wealth which you cannot consume." And he narrated this hadith in a concise manner.
