588 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خُصَّ الْبَلَاءُ بِمَنْ عَرَفَ النَّاسَ، وَعَاشَ فِيهِمْ مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْهُمْ»
Ja'far bin Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates from his father who said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever recognizes the people has been singled out for trial, and whoever does not recognize them will live among them."
