Hadith 567
567 - أَخْبَرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا، أبنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَسَدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَرْوِيُّ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «حُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ، وَحُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ» تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْحَاقُ الْفَرْوِيُّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that indeed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Paradise has been veiled with hardships and difficulties, and Hell has been veiled with carnal desires." Ishaq al-Farawi, may Allah have mercy on him, is unique in narrating this.
Hadith 568
568 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْكَاتِبُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو نَصْرٍ التَّمَّارُ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «حُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ، وَحُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ» رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ , أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ وَحُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَذَكَرَهُ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hell has been veiled with carnal desires, and Paradise has been veiled with hardships and difficulties." Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) has also narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) with his chain that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said... and he narrated the hadith.
