Hadiths 401 to 600
مَنْ أَذْنَبَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ذَنْبًا فَعُوقِبَ بِهِ فَاللَّهُ أَعْدَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يُثْنِيَ عُقُوبَتَهُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ، وَمَنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فَسَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَفَا عَنْهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَاللَّهُ أَكْرَمُ مِنْ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي شَيْءٍ قَدْ عَفَا عَنْهُ
Whoever commits a sin and is punished for it in this world, Allah is too just to punish him again; and whoever commits a sin and Allah conceals and forgives him in this world, Allah is too generous to return to something He has forgiven

Hadith 503
503 - أَخْبَرَنَا تُرَابُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْكَاتِبُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحَذَّاءُ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ الْمُفَسِّرِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ أَبِي السَّفَرِ وَمُحَمَّدٌ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَذْنَبَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَعُوقِبَ بِهِ فَاللَّهُ أَعْدَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يُثْنِيَ عُقُوبَتَهُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ، وَمَنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فَسَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَفَا عَنْهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَاللَّهُ أَكْرَمُ مِنْ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي شَيْءٍ قَدْ عَفَا عَنْهُ»
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "If a person commits a sin in this world and then receives its punishment, it is far from Allah's justice that He would punish His servant for that sin again. And if a person commits a sin and Allah conceals it in this world and pardons him, then it is far from Allah's greatness that He would punish him again for a sin He has already pardoned."
