مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى خَيْرِ عَمَلِهِ فَأَرْجُو لَهُ خَيْرًا، وَمَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى سَيِّئِ عَمَلِهِ فَخَافُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا
Whoever dies upon his best deeds, I hope good for him; whoever dies upon his worst deeds, fear for him and do not despair

Hadith 502
502 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَخْتَوَيْهِ، بِمَكَّةَ حَرَسَهَا اللَّهُ تَعَالَى، أبنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، أبنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أنا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَانِي الْخَوْلَانِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ وَخَالِدَ بْنَ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، يَقُولَانِ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى خَيْرِ عَمَلِهِ فَأَرْجُو لَهُ خَيْرًا، وَمَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى سَيِّئِ عَمَلِهِ فَخَافُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا»
Abu Abdur Rahman Hubli and Khalid bin Abi Imran (may Allah have mercy on them) report that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have good hope for the one who dies upon his good deeds, and be apprehensive about the one who dies upon his bad deeds, but do not despair."
