مَنْ نَظَرَ فِي كِتَابِ أَخِيهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا يَنْظُرُ فِي النَّارِ
Whoever looks into his brother's letter without permission, it is as if he looks into the fire

Hadith 464
464 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْوَصِيِّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ثنا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْمِقْدَامِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ نَظَرَ فِي كِتَابِ أَخِيهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا يَنْظُرُ فِي النَّارِ» مُخْتَصَرٌ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever looks into his brother's book (or writing) without his permission, it is as if he is looking into the fire."
