مَنْ كَفِّ لِسَانَهُ عَنْ أَعْرَاضِ النَّاسِ أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ عَثْرَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
Whoever restrains his tongue from people's honor, Allah will forgive his slip on the Day of Judgment

Hadith 455
455 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَخْتَوَيْهِ، بِمَكَّةَ، أبنا زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، أبنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، أبنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أبنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيُّ , عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ كَفَّ لِسَانَهُ عَنْ أَعْرَاضِ النَّاسِ أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَثْرَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Abu Ja'far (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever restrains his tongue from violating the honor of people, Allah Almighty will overlook his slips on the Day of Resurrection."
