It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that indeed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is asked about some knowledge which he knows, but he conceals it (and does not inform), a bridle of fire will be put on him."

Qais bin Talq narrates from his father. And he (Qais's father) was among those who came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as part of a delegation. He says that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever is asked about some knowledge but conceals it, a bridle of fire will be put on him on the Day of Resurrection."
