It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ka'b that he said to Umar bin Abdul Aziz that our master Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated a hadith to us, saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said in a long hadith: "And whoever wishes to be the most honorable among the people, let him fear Allah; and whoever wishes to be the strongest among the people, let him put his trust in Allah; and whoever wishes to be the richest and most affluent among the people, let him have more trust and certainty in what is with Allah than in what is in his own hand."
