مَنْ أَحَبِّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَكْرَمَ النَّاسِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَقْوَى النَّاسِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَغْنَى النَّاسِ فَلْيَكُنْ بِمَا فِي يَدَيِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَقَ مِنْهُ بِمَا فِي يَدِهِ
Whoever wishes to be the most honorable of people, let him fear Allah; whoever wishes to be the strongest, let him rely on Allah; whoever wishes to be the richest, let him be more confident in what is with Allah than what is in his own hand

Hadith 367
367 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التُّجِيبِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ فِرَاسٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، أنا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ: «وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَكْرَمَ النَّاسِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَقْوَى النَّاسِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَغْنَى النَّاسِ فَلْيَكُنْ بِمَا فِي يَدِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَقَ مِنْهُ بِمَا فِي يَدِهِ»
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ka'b that he said to Umar bin Abdul Aziz that our master Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated a hadith to us, saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said in a long hadith: "And whoever wishes to be the most honorable among the people, let him fear Allah; and whoever wishes to be the strongest among the people, let him put his trust in Allah; and whoever wishes to be the richest and most affluent among the people, let him have more trust and certainty in what is with Allah than in what is in his own hand."
Hadith 368
368 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الشَّاهِدُ، أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ الْوَصْنِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْمِقْدَامِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَكْرَمَ النَّاسِ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَغْنَى النَّاسِ فَلْيَكُنْ بِمَا فِي يَدِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَقَ مِنْهُ بِمَا فِي يَدِهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Whoever wishes to be the most honorable among the people should fear Allah, and whoever wishes to be the richest among the people should place more trust and certainty in what is with Allah than in what is in his own hand."
