Hadith 362
362 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْفَتْحِ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ رَشِيقٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَيَّاضِ، ثنا أَشْهَبُ، عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مِشْرَحٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَأَنَّى أَصَابَ أَوْ كَادَ، وَمَنْ عَجِلَ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ كَادَ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever acts with deliberation reaches (the truth) or comes close to it, and whoever acts with haste errs or comes close to erring.”
Hadith 363
363 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَابِرٍ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، أنا أَشْهَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَوْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ , عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ تَأَنَّى أَصَابَ أَوْ كَادَ، وَمَنْ عَجِلَ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ كَادَ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Whoever acts with deliberation reaches (the truth), or comes close to (the truth), and whoever acts with haste errs, or comes close to (error)."
