Hadith 308
308 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الشَّاهِدُ، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ: لَا أَعْلَمُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءِ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمُتَشَبِّعُ بِمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ كَلَابِسِ ثَوْبَيْ زُورٍ»
Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "One who displays something which he does not own is like one who wears two garments of falsehood (a deceiver)."
Hadith 309
309 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا ابْنُ جَامِعٍ، أبنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُتَشَبِّعُ بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطَهُ كَلَابِسِ ثَوْبَيْ زُورٍ»
Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One who pretends to have what he has not been given is like one who wears a garment of falsehood."
