الْأَنْبِيَاءُ قَادَةٌ وَالْفُقَهَاءُ سَادَةٌ وَمُجَالَسَتُهُمْ زِيَادَةٌ
The prophets are leaders, the jurists are masters, and sitting with them is an increase (in goodness)

307 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ النَّجِيرَمِيُّ، أبنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ، ثنا أَبِي قَالَ: ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ بْنِ التَّرْجُمَانِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْأَنْبِيَاءُ قَادَةٌ وَالْفُقَهَاءُ سَادَةٌ وَمُجَالَسَتُهُمْ زِيَادَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The Prophets (peace be upon them) are leaders, the jurists are chiefs, and sitting in their gatherings is a cause of increase (in knowledge)."
