Hadith 279
279 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْغَزِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِنْتِ مَطَرٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الرَّازِيُّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْعَالِمُ وَالْمُتَعَلِّمُ شَرِيكَانِ فِي الْخَيْرِ، وَسَائِرُ النَّاسِ شَرٌّ لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The scholar and the learner are both partners in goodness, and the rest of the people are evil; there is no goodness in them."
