طِيبُ الرِّجَالِ مَا ظَهَرَ رِيحُهُ وَخَفِيَ لَوْنُهُ، وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ مَا ظَهَرَ لَوْنُهُ وَخَفِيَ رِيحُهُ
The best perfume for men is that whose scent is apparent and color hidden, and the best perfume for women is that whose color is apparent and scent hidden

Hadith 271
271 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْفُرَاتِيُّ، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مَاهَانَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ , عَنْ الطُّفَاوِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «طِيبُ الرِّجَالِ مَا ظَهَرَ رِيحُهُ وَخَفِيَ لَوْنُهُ، وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ مَا ظَهَرَ لَوْنُهُ وَخَفِيَ رِيحُهُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The perfume for men is that whose color is hidden and whose fragrance spreads, and the perfume for women is that whose color is apparent and whose fragrance is hidden."
Hadith 272
272 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ النَّحْوِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ النَّسَائِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عن , الطُّفَاوِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «طِيبُ الرِّجَالِ مَا ظَهَرَ رِيحُهُ وَخَفِيَ لَوْنُهُ، وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ مَا ظَهَرَ لَوْنُهُ وَخَفِيَ رِيحُهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The fragrance for men is that whose color is hidden and whose scent spreads, and the fragrance for women is that whose color is apparent and whose scent is hidden."
