Hadith 221
221 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الشَّاهِدُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness has been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
Hadith 222
222 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّمْسَارُ، أبنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْبَرَكَةُ فِي نَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ»
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Blessing is in the foreheads of horses."
Hadith 223
223 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ السِّمْسَارِ، أَيْضًا، أبنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ، ثنا الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، ثنا الْبُخَارِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا شَبِيبُ بْنُ غَرْقَدَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ يَعْنِي الْبَارِقِيَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Sayyiduna ‘Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Goodness has been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection.”
