Hadith 215
215 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَيْسَرَانِيُّ، ثنا الْخَرَائِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا قَزَعَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ، قَالَ: مَرَرْتُ عَلَى غَازٍ بِالْجَدِيلَةِ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَوَّلُ مَا يَرْفَعُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الْحَيَاءُ وَالْأَمَانَةُ»
Dawud bin Abu Hind says that I passed by a warrior at the place of Jadilah, and he said: I heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first things to be taken away from this Ummah will be modesty and trustworthiness."
