Hadith 145
145 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ فَهْدٍ، قَالَ: ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ، وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever."
