143 - أَخْبَرَنَا تُرَابُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْكَاتِبُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُفَسِّرِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْوَرَّاقُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الدُّعَاءُ سِلَاحُ الْمُؤْمِنِ، وَعِمَادُ الدِّينِ، وَنُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ»
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Supplication is the weapon of the believer, the pillar of religion, and the light of the heavens and the earth.”
