Hadith 136
136 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْحَرْبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنُ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمُقْرِئُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنٌ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِيمَانِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ، يَأْلَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ لِمَا يُصِيبُ أَهْلَ الْإِيمَانِ كَمَا يَأْلَمُ الرَّأْسُ لِمَا يُصِيبُ الْجَسَدَ»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The relationship of a believer with the believers is like that of the head with the body; a believer is distressed by the suffering of the believers just as the head is distressed by the pain of the body.”
