Hadith 91
91 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ أَسْبَاطٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مُدَارَاةُ النَّاسِ صَدَقَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Entertaining guests for the sake of people is also charity."
Hadith 92
92 - وأنا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ بُنْدَارٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ، ثنا الْمُسَيَّبُ، ثنا يُوسُفُ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ
This narration is also reported in a similar manner through another chain from Sufyan Thawri with his chain of transmission.
