Hadith 71
71 - أَخْبَرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ نَظِيفٍ الْفَرَّاءُ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّافِقِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْخَضِرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا أَبُو سُفْيَانَ عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّوَّارِ الْعَدَوِيِّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْحَيَاءُ لَا يَأْتِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ» وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ. وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ مُثَنَّى قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا السَّوَّارِ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَكَرَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Modesty brings nothing but good." Muslim has also narrated it with his chain that Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, reports from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him... and he narrated this hadith.
