Hadiths 1 to 200
مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ، وَمَسْأَلَةُ الْغَنِيِّ شَيْنٌ فِي وَجْهِهِ، وَمَسْأَلَةُ الْغَنِيِّ نَارٌ
Delaying payment by the rich is injustice, begging from the rich is a disgrace, and begging from the rich is fire
Hadith 42
42 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكَاتِبُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا شَيْبَانُ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ، وَمَسْأَلَةُ الْغَنِيِّ شَيْنٌ فِي وَجْهِهِ، وَمَسْأَلَةُ الْغَنِيِّ نَارٌ»
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Delaying the repayment of a debt by a wealthy person is injustice, and a wealthy person begging is a blemish on his face, and a wealthy person begging is the fire of Hell."
Hadith 43
43 - وأنا ابْنُ السِّمْسَارِ، ثنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ، ثنا الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، ثنا الْبُخَارِيُّ، نا مُسَدَّدُ، نا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، نا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Delaying the repayment of a debt by a wealthy person is injustice."
