Sayyida Samrah bint Jundub (may Allah be pleased with her) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who is consulted is a trustee, so if he wishes, he may give advice, and if he wishes, he may remain silent. Then if he gives advice, he should give such advice that if the situation were to present itself to him, he would act upon it himself."
