968 - أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، نا الْبَخْتَرِيُّ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَأَبَا بُرْدَةَ يُحَدِّثَانِ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا يَعْنِي أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ أُمَّةٌ مَرْحُومَةٌ، لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ، جُعِلَ عَذَابُهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا الْقَتْلُ وَالْفِتَنُ وَالزَّلَازِلُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, this Ummah is an Ummah upon whom mercy has been bestowed; there is no punishment for it in the Hereafter. Its punishment has been made in this world in the form of killing, tribulations, and earthquakes."
