95 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ بُنْدَارٍ الْقَاضِي، أبنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدَةُ الصَّفَّارُ، أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثنا مِسْوَرُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ الْمَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا وَقَى بِهِ الْمَرْءُ عِرْضَهُ كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whatever a person uses to protect his honor, it is written for him as charity in return.”
