Brief Explanation
Explanation: -
In this blessed hadith, the command to speak the truth has been given, meaning that when one comes to know the truth, it should be proclaimed openly without any concern for the fear or intimidation of people. Yes, if there is a fear of losing one's life or of severe harm, then remaining silent is also permissible, but even in such a situation, the best course is to adopt truthfulness, as the examples of the noble Prophets (alayhimussalam) and other great righteous ones are before us. They spoke the word of truth without concern for their own lives, and proclaimed the word of truth before great tyrants and oppressors, because this is the most virtuous form of jihad.

It is mentioned in the hadith that (on the occasion of Hajj) a man came near the first Jamrah to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and asked: O Messenger of Allah! Which jihad is the most virtuous? The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) heard his question but remained silent. When he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) pelted the second Jamrah, the man asked again, but the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) again remained silent. When he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) finished pelting the Jamrah Aqabah and placed his foot in the stirrup to mount his ride, he said: “Where is the questioner?” The man replied: O Messenger of Allah! I am present. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “The most virtuous jihad is to speak the word of truth before a tyrannical ruler.” [ابن ماجه : 4012 ، صحيح]
