Brief Explanation
Benefit: - It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Do not be amazed at anyone until you see upon which deed his end occurs, because the reality is that a person continues to perform righteous deeds for a long period in his life; if he dies in that state, he will enter Paradise. But then a change occurs in him and he becomes engaged in evil deeds. And likewise, a servant continues to perform (evil) deeds for a long time; if he dies upon them, he will go to Hell, but then a change occurs in him and he begins to perform righteous deeds. And when Allah intends good for a servant, He sets him upon (obedient) deeds.” Sayyiduna Sahabah radi Allahu anhum asked: O Messenger of Allah! How does He (Allah Ta’ala) set him upon deeds? He replied: “(Before death) He grants him the ability to perform a righteous deed, then seizes his soul upon that (righteous deed).” [أحمد : 3/120 ، صحيح]
