93 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْبَارِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ رَشِيقٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ مَاسِرْجِسَ، أبنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ صَدَقَةٌ، وَكُلُّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةَ صَدَقَةٌ» رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ثنا مَعْمَرٌ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ مُخْتَصَرٌ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: “Speaking a good word is charity, and every step taken towards prayer is charity.” Muslim has also narrated it with his chain in the same way (but the mentioned narration) is brief.
