It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that indeed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "As long as a servant waits for the prayer, he remains in the state of prayer."

Brief Explanation
Benefit:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “The prayer of a man with the congregation is twenty-five degrees superior to his prayer at home or in the market. The reason is that when a person performs ablution (wudu) and perfects it by observing all its etiquettes, then sets out towards the mosque with no other intention except for prayer, then for every step he takes, one degree is raised for him and one sin is forgiven. And when he finishes the prayer, the angels continue to supplicate for him as long as he remains seated at his place of prayer. The angels say: O Allah! Send Your blessings upon him. O Allah! Have mercy on him. And as long as you are waiting for the prayer, it is as if you are in prayer itself.”
