Brief Explanation
Explanation: -

Zubair bin Adi narrates that we came to Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik radi Allahu anhu, and we complained to him about the oppression of Hajjaj bin Yusuf that was reaching us from Hajjaj. Then Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu said: "Be patient, for no era will come upon you except that the one after it will be worse than it, until you meet your Lord." I heard this from your Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam." [بخاري : 7068]

In this hadith, there is a prophecy that conditions will deteriorate day by day, and accordingly, the rulers will also become more oppressive and worse. In such circumstances, one should leave the rulers to their own state, and every person should focus on reforming himself and preparing for his Hereafter. If oppression and tyranny are committed by the rulers, one should endure it and act with patience. (Riyadh as-Salihin: 1/126)
