898 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَلِيحٍ الطَّرَائِفِيُّ، وَأَبُو طَاهِرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْمَدِينِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْجَنَدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَزْدَادُ الْأَمْرُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً، وَلَا الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا إِدْبَارًا، وَلَا النَّاسُ إِلَّا شُحًّا، وَلَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا عَلَى شِرَارِ النَّاسِ، وَلَا مَهْدِيَّ إِلَّا عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: “(The affairs of) the world will only become more severe, the world will continue to decline, miserliness will only increase among people, the Hour will be established upon the worst of people, and ‘Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) is indeed the Mahdi.”
