86 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ النَّهْرَدَيْرِيُّ، بِهَا، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ الذَّارِعُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الدَّالُّ عَلَى الْخَيْرِ كَفَاعِلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The one who guides towards goodness is like the one who does it.”

Explanation:
In this hadith, it is stated that the one who guides towards goodness is also deserving of reward and recompense equal to that of the one who performs the deed. That is, the one who performs the good deed receives a reward, and the one who facilitates, informs, or encourages the good deed receives an equal reward. Importantly, this does not cause any decrease in the reward of the one who actually performs the deed.
