857 - أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الرَّقِّيُّ السَّاكِنُ، كَانَ بِبِلْبِيسَ إِجَازَةً، نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: هَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي خَطْمَةَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَاشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ، وَقَالَ: «مَنْ لِي بِهَا؟» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَوْمِهَا: أَنَا لَهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَكَانَتْ تَمَّارَةٌ تَبِيعُ التَّمْرَ، قَالَ: فَأَتَاهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا: هَلْ عِنْدَكِ تَمْرٌ؟ فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ، فَأَرَتْهُ تَمْرًا، فَقَالَ أَرَدْتُ أَجْوَدَ مِنْ هَذَا، قَالَ: فَدَخَلَتِ التُّرْبَةَ، قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ خَلْفَهَا، فَنَظَرَ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا، فَلَمْ يَرَ إِلَّا خِوَانًا، قَالَ: فَعَلَا بِهِ رَأْسَهَا حَتَّى دَمَغَهَا بِهِ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ كَفَيْتُكَهَا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْتَطِحُ فِيهَا عَنْزَانِ» ، فَأَرْسَلَهَا مَثَلًا
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a woman from Banu Khathma satirized the Prophet (peace be upon him). When this was reported to him, he became very angry and said: "Who will take revenge on my behalf from her?" A man from her tribe said: "O Messenger of Allah! I will take revenge on your behalf." That woman used to sell dates. The narrator says that the man came to her and said: "Do you have dates?" She said: "Yes." She showed him the dates, so the man said: "I want better dates than these." She entered the house (to bring better dates), and the man entered after her. He looked around and saw nothing except a dining table, so he picked it up and struck her on the head with it until her brain came out. Then he came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have sufficed you regarding her." The Prophet (peace be upon him) then said: "Not even the heads of two goats will clash over this." Thus, the Prophet (peace be upon him) made this statement proverbial.
