856 - أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدُونٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا، أبنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرْبِيُّ الْحَنْبَلِيُّ السُّكَّرِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ، جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الْجُرْجَرَائِيُّ بِهَا، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ الشَّامِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ اللَّخْمِيُّ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، عَنْ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: هَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي خَطْمَةَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهِجَاءٍ لَهَا، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ، وَقَالَ: «مَنْ لِي بِهَا؟» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَوْمِهَا: أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَكَانَتْ تَمَّارَةٌ تَبِيعُ التَّمْرَ، قَالَ: فَأَتَاهَا أَجْوَدَ مِنْ هَذَا قَالَ: فَدَخَلَتِ التُّرْبَةَ، قَالَ: وَدَخَلَ خَلْفَهَا، فَنَظَرَ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا، فَلَمْ يَرَ إِلَّا خِوَانًا، قَالَ: فَعَلَا بِهِ رَأْسَهَا حَتَّى دَمَغَهَا بِهِ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ كَفَيْتُكَهَا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْتَطِحُ فِيهَا عَنْزَانِ» ، فَأَرْسَلَهَا مَثَلًا
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a woman from Banu Khathma satirized the Prophet (peace be upon him). When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was informed of this, he became very angry and said: "Who will take revenge on my behalf from her?" Then a man from that woman's tribe said: "O Messenger of Allah! I will (do it)." That woman used to sell dates. That man came to her (and said): "Are there any better dates than these?" She entered the house (to bring better dates), and the man entered right after her. He looked around and saw nothing except a dining table, so he picked it up and struck her on the head with it, causing her brains to come out. Then he came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have taken care of her on your behalf." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Not even the heads of two goats will clash over her." Thus, the Prophet (peace be upon him) made this statement proverbial.
