851 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّحَّاسُ الْمُعَدِّلُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ الْكَلْبِيُّ، ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Blood money is only due to a wound caused by a glance or a sting."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Bloodletting (dam) is only due to the effect of the evil eye or a sting.” [أحمد : 436/3 ، وسنده صحيح]
